Heather Pearsall studied at the famous Crane School of Music, and, has also studied with world renown Helen Boatwright. She has performed professionally in Europe and at Carnige Hall, with the Syracuse Vocal Ensemble, and the Syracuse and other regional symphonies. She is also a seasoned veteran musical theater director, having been both musical director and star performer in MANY musicals over the years. Heather's impressive resume includes being a 20 PLUS year veteran professional Church Music Director, musician, music educator, Church Choir Director, pianist/organist, and vocalist with extensive experience in all Christian denominations, and, with all age levels. Having strong family roots in both the Liverpool/Syracuse NY and Scranton/NEPA areas, she currently resides in Kingsley PA, with her husband Barney Wilkins. He is the adjunct instructor of Brass at Clarks Summit University (formerly Baptist Bible College and Seminary) and is also a music teacher and instrumental music specialist, and has been active in music ministry, education, band/choir/orchestral direction, and performance for over 25 years. Barney is also a veteran Teacher of the Gifted in Pennsylvania, and holds a teaching license in PA, NY, NJ, and NC. In addition to teaching her own students and managing other teachers in her studio, Heather currently performs for weddings, all types of Christian Church Services/events, and, with the regionally well known Penn Dixie Band. Heather is currently the Musical Director of the Tri State Gospel Singers, a Christian Gospel Vocal Ensemble, and teaches and performs with her husband.
Our rates are as follows: $20.00 for a private 30 minute lesson
$6.00 per student for classes, must have a minimum of 8 students and no more than 10 -- classes are 50 minutes
IF Student takes both private Instruction AND a class then Lesson rate is $15.00 and class rate is $5.00 per
(Music History, Music Theory, etc) and certain SMALL ensembles like Praise and worship band same minimum and max numbers once per week and also
$6.00 per student for larger ensembles vocal or instrumental ensembles, these are larger choral/band/orchestra size groups, 16 students minimum, no max, and the rehearsal will be 60 minutes once per week
ENSEMBLE students - either large or small, must either already take lessons with us, or have experience
- Note - Ensemble classes can not become beginner lessons for obvious reasons.
We teach all classes the months of Sept (start day after Labor Day), Oct, Nov, first 2 weeks of Dec, then we start up last week of Jan, All Feb, March, April and first 3 weeks of May
Same for Private Lessons, with addition of the rest of May and All of June.
We also have a referal service for musical instrument dealers in the region
(We have make up procedures for incliment weather/miss situations, and billing is monthly)
